Yes by dog bites: Blastomycosis is usually acquired by inhalation of conidia into the lungs. Primary cutaneous blastomycosis has occurred after accidental innoculation in the lab, at autopsy and after dog bites.

Blastomycosis: Blastomycosis is not normally transmitted from dogs to humans with the rare exception being if the an infected dog bites a person. Usually if a person and the person's dog both have Blastomycosis infection it is because they were both exposed to the same contaminating agent (like soil or rotting leaves/ compost).
