Stress & Distress: Some stress might be good for keeping us alert, and our bodies are generally good at dealing with acute stress. But too much for too long, can turn into "distress" -- and the situations that stress us are individually variable. Stress can relate to many problems such as headaches, high blood pressure, heart problems, diabetes, skin conditions, asthma, arthritis, depression, & anxiety.
