Can a person "fall behind" in on sleep? for example, if i sleep 3 hours on monday and 5 hours on tuesday am i really behind 8 hours?

Yes you are: Sleep deprivation sooner or later catches up with you.You should try to get at least 6 to 7 hours of sleep.And if you do fall behind, you should try to catch up, as lack of sleep can cause problems to your health.
