Elbow fracture: Numbness implies injury or irritation to the median, ulnar, or radial nerves or their branches. An open fracture usually implies more soft tissue injury and damage than a closed fracture. It may take 3 months or longer. It depends whether the nerve, the nerve sheath, or continuity of the nerve is involved.
