Next day?: You can probably resume a normal diet the next day. It depends upon the extent and difficulty of the surgery. It is best to ask the dentist or surgeon who removed the teeth.

Usually after 6 week: It is best to wait until the resultant holes are closed. That usually takes about 6 weeks. Your surgeon can best tell you; there are times when these holes may close sooner. If food particles get lodged into the holes the feeling may resemble a dry socket.
