A member asked:

What is the worst complication resulting from osteoarthritis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None: Osteoarthritis (oa) is a localized disease that does not have internal organ complications, seizures, blindness, or other problems associated with some of the autoimmune rheumatologist conditions. Oa is cartilage wear and tear along with bone growth (spurs). The worst that could happen is that a joint might need to be replaced.
