Need CT or MRI brain: You need a brain ct or MRI to check for any structural cause of headache.

Get an evaluation: Episodes of severe headache followed by recovery would suggest that you do not have a tumor but have migraine. If you are having progressive symptoms, then you need a thorough medical and neurological evaluation. Some migraine patients develop chronic headache. This may be due to excessive use of medications. Discuss with your doctor.
