Likely TMD: 500mg of what? Who gave it to you and for what.? Antibiotics may be indicated if a systemic or localized infection was correctly diagnosed. If systemic, your jaw/ear pain would likely be bilateral. It would seem that you are suffering from tmd or temporomandibular dysfunction; irritation of your jaw joint that has caused pain to the jaws on the effected side. See a dentist! no pills from cabinet!

Jaw Pain: You very likely have an abscessed tooth, many times, a lower molar refers pain to the ear as well as refers pain to the upper jaw too when it is abscessed. Also get a look at the muscles for trigger points as the masseter muscle can mimic these same symptoms.
