It depends: Our bodies are always active- your heart never stops, you always breathe, your brain is always active, as is every cell of your body to some degree. But there are times when we are less active than others. Water soluble vitamins (c, b) only stay in the body for several hours, fat soluble vitamins (a, d, e, k) can be stored and take longer to use up.But we need water-soluble vitamins on a daily basis.
