If my husband is diabetic will my baby be diabetic too?

No: Dad being diabetic will have no effect on the unborn child. His Insulin secretion (or lack of it or resistnace to it) can in no way affect the fetus. However, since there is a family history of diabetes, this is something as the child grows up that should be discussed because there is a genetic predisposition to development of it in people with a family history.
