Difficult to say: Many children born with multiple birth defects represent sporadic chromosomal defects with rare if any recurrence risk.Any pregnancy has a 4% risk of unexpected outcome ( premi, cleft, etc.) but your case may need special analysis.A geneticist could decide from reviewing your first babies defects if you need additional studies to decide this issue. They are often found at children's hospitals.

More info needed: I would add that it depends on the type of defects present and whether the risk is based in genetic inheritance. If there was a pregnancy related cause, your OB Gyn physician can further advise. Many healthy infants are born to mothers with a similar history, but more information is needed to answer.
