Slight increase was undoubtably explained to you, check your contract. Birth defects also can occur in non ivf kids as well as learning disabilities. Congrats on giving birth.

Any pregnancy has at least a 4% risk of unexpected outcome, from prematurity to birth defects to infection. Some IVF centers do selective embryo screening for specific issues as an additional expense, but for many you get what you get. There is no method available to assure that every embryo does not or will not develop an issue at the same frequency as natural birth.
