A member asked:

Will my tailor bunion get larger or go away if i switch to better shoes?

It may get bigger: Over time, your tailor's bunion may progress and become more noticeable. Better shoes do not cure the deformity, they just accommodate around it better. If you have no pain doing this, this might be an acceptable form of treatment for now. If not, talk to a podiatrist for more options.

See below: Your tailors bunion will not go away. It may become less painful with proper shoes that do not push on that area.

Symptoms may improve: The swelling and pain may improve. The bony deformity will not improve in its own.
