3 minutes: 1.) 2-3 minutes. Any less than that and the sticky plaque will not be adequately removed from all areas of the teeth. 2.) brush along the gum lines. This is where plaque accumulate and hide. 3.) always use a soft toothbrush and name-brand fluoride-toothpaste.

Electric toothbrush: All research shows that using an electric toothbrush is more effective than brushing by hand. Some people like the sonicare and others the oral b. Personal preference. You need to go slowly and spend time on each tooth, inside, outside and on top.
