A member asked:

What kind of healthy meals should i make for my teenager who is sick?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Non challenging: Generally bland, but balanced. Softer is better. If foods are tolerated well, then anything is fair game. However, with vomiting and diarrhea, or stomach pain, now is not the time to try the new shrimp gumbo recipe you got. Smaller, non-heavy, non spicy, low fat foods with higher water contents are best tolerated.
