Too much sleep: Get a very effective, loud alarm and get up in response to it - setting it for an earlier hour than previous. Do not deviate on the to bed time. Occasionally arising earlier actually contributes to more energy and can counteract dysthymic disorder (chronic, low grade depression). Early am bright light can help with awakening - sun, light box or more preferably a dawn stimulator set next to bed.
