Lots of options!: Good moisturization helps protect the skin and makes it look softer and smoother; indeed, it is one of the central components to many "anti-wrinkle" creams. There are literally hundreds of good options, but i'd stress that you don't need to spend lots of money. Start simple with the popular national brands (cetaphil, cerave, aveeno, (oatmeal) etc.) and go from there.

Many: I would suggest the daily moisturizer in my own skin care line I have developed with a skin chemist. Many over the counter products can help, but beware and read labels to avoid product with parabens that function as estrogenic hormone in the body and contribute to weight gain/hormonal imbalance. I would suggest something like dml lotion.

Healthy skin: Avoid things that make you break out, soaps ; wetness. Wash your hands only when necessary. Wear gloves when needed. Wear clothes made of cotton. Bathe only with a small amount of mild unscented soap, such as dove. Keep the water temperature cool or warm, not hot! use the medicine your doctor gave you. Use a plain moisturizer daily. Avoid scratching or rubbing the itchy area. Manage stress.
