Folliculitis: You have likely developed folliculitis which is an inflammation or infection of the hair follicule. It may resolve by itself but sometimes it can cause a more extended infection.

Folliculitis: Pubic hairs extremely course and if it trimmed below the level of the skin wondering back and become trapped in the poor and causing acneform like irruption. I recommend close trimming versus shaving.
