Mm strain?: Could simply be a strain/sprain from exertional causes, but could be result of underlying wear and tear degeneration. If pain radiates down an arm, or if numbness, tingling or weakness is present, or if this is associated with a fever, best to see your doc and get examined. If merely soft tissue process, should respond to local warmth and otc meds, within a few days.

What happen to you: If you do not have any incident which could cause it and you have no other symptoms, use moist heat and advil (ibuprofen) (if you can take it) and see if it will go away. If persist and or have other symptoms check it out.
