See a dentist : The best advise i can gice someone who has a toothache is to see a dentist immediately in order for the proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations be made. Using over the counter remedies may reduce or alleviate some of symptoms but will not in all likelihood remove the cause or etiology of the toothache.

Call a dentist: You should call a dentist to have a tooth that hurts checked. It may be infected, which can cause serious complications with your overall health. It's not worth the risk. Get it checked with an examination and an x-ray.
