My mother has inflamation on her eye lids, we did several tests in which all reports came normal except the esr rate (52mm/hr). what may be the cause?

Dermatitis: Without seeing the infection, rashes are almost impossible to diagnose over a computer. Sed rates (ESR) are very non-specific and are not diagnostic for rashes. It may be psoriasis, or a generalized atopic dermatitis. Your best bet is having a dermatologist examine your mother. Good luck.
