Hopefully not: If you have been coughing for a while, this could give you chest pain from the constant contraction of the muscles in your ribs. Of course there are alot of reasons to have chest pain and if it continues you should go to the er or see your family doctor.

Unlikely: For someone your age who is otherwise healthy, the symptom complex you describe is most likely a cold. The chest pain can come from irritation of the lining around the lung inside the chest. This condition is usually self limited, so if it doesn't get better on its own soon, you should go see your doctor.
