See below: IF the polycystic kidneys and liver ARE associated with either measurable impairment of kidney (more common) or liver (uncommon) function, then the metabolism and excretion of various medications and drugs will be affected requiring either dose modification or drug avoidance to reduce or eliminate the potential for side effects and toxicity. Regular follow-up, lab testd and MD discussion required.
