Please clarify.: The throat has a lot of specific anatomy. Do you mean the palate, the tongue, the back of the throat (behind the tongue)? Truthfully, painless bumps are usually not serious. They may be taste buds or canker sores (usually painful) or part of the lymphatic system or inclusion cysts. And there are about a hundred other possibilities, some of which will need attention.
