A member asked:

How do i know if what i experienced was an aura or a mini stroke an if i should be concerned about the migraine i still have a week later.?

Control yourself: Anxiety is your worst enemy. Migraine causes constriction of the blood vessels to the brain, but should then relax and recovery with time. In rare cases this can result in a permanent deficit or "stroke". Most cases recover fully without residua. Anxiety and tension will extend the migraine and the risk. Use Aspirin and relaxation and control yourself. Get a thorough evaluation by your md.
