Readiness for: Toileting includes his being able to pull his pants up & down, say/sign "pee-pee, poo-poo or potty" & sense when he needs to "go." if he's in early childhood special education through your local school district, teachers sometimes help with tt.. (if not, call child find for assessment). His aba therapist can help, also. "steps to independence" is a good book.See www.Autism-society.Org.

Probably not: You & your boy will need much more help than i can give you in this space.Toilet training a developmentally challenged child is complicated! running around naked is not a sign of readiness.Some signs include: motivation to emulate others; wanting to please;cooperation, good behavior & self-control; success with other kinds of learned/trained behaviors. Get expert help with overall behavior mgmt.
