Sure can.: The pressure, manipulation, and insertion of the cystoscope commonly causes inflammation and tenderness. If you also have burning, frequency, or urgency when you pee, you may have gotten a bladder infection as well. There are urinary anesthetics and anti-inflammatories available to calm the soreness. Call your urologist and have him/her review your symptoms with you.
