High platelet count: Can be associated with iron deficiency anemia, which could lead to lightheadedness. Hypoglycemia also a possibility but more evaluation would be needed to sort all this out.

Prob not: Blood sugars do not have anything to do with platelet counts. If counts are really high, blood can get thick and clot. U need to call ur medical doctor.
