Benzo: 0.5 mg xanax=15 mg of temazepam. Xanax (alprazolam) is short acting with half life of 6-20 hours, but temazepam is medium acting half life of 10-20 hours.

Xanax (alprazolam): Due to individual variability, some may respond to low dose such as 0.25mg., others may need up to 2mg. However, xanax (alprazolam) is an anxiety medication, not a sleeping pill.
