Consult ASAP!: There are many causes of bad breath. However, what deeply concerns me is what you feel in the back of your throat. It could be an infection or a growth. You should see an oral surgeon and\or an ear nose and throat specialist as soon as possible for an evaluation. These things can lead to serious complications and even be life threatening. Don't delay. Hopefully it is not serious.

Get it checked ASAP!: Get it checked by an ENT or oral surgeon as soon as possible. This could be quite serious and there is a good chance that it can be remedied by more than wishing it away.

The best course... : The best course of action would be to see your dentist and have them take a look. There may be something in your throat worth looking into. A dentist who is familiar with oral pre-cancer testing would be a good choice. You may find this information on their web site. Options would be to see an ENT doctor, internist md or holistic od. Depending on the visual diagnosis you will have options.
