Really, nothing.: Other than wearing your hair to cover your ears, there is no non surgical "ear pinning" besides headphones or sweatband use! cartilage has natural "spring" and will come out. Surgical otoplasty is a straightforward operation that can be performed under local anesthesia (in an adult) with low risks and excellent long-term results. See an abps-certified plastic surgeon or two for more information!

As an adult, nothing: In infants, the cartilage is soft enough that the ear can be held in a more desirable shape or position with tape; as the child matures, the cartilage becomes more rigid and maintains this shape and position. Unfortunately, this does not work as an adult. Otoplasty is a simple and effect method to correct the shape and position of the ear.
