Continued patience: You should consult with the child's pediatrician to look for other causes of the pain. If the original diagnosis was based on a ct scan, then it would depend on how convincing that scan was. Persistent lymphadenopathy would raise concern of another diagnosis so i would continue to follow up with the pediatrician.
