Work up: Includes a follow up ct scan, possible colonoscopy. Ultrasound if female- and pregnancy test.

More time: Other serious causes have to be ruled out to make sure the inflammation is not from a surgical cause. If u have had this work up, symptoms go away with time and anti inflammatory meds. If not better, need to c ur doc to reassess and perhaps do another ct scan.
