Minimally invasive: A diagnostic and therapeutic way to treat the wrist. Utilizing a small camera (endoscope) the joint space between the radius and carpal bones can be evaluated through several small ports. Various instruments can then be used to debride synovitis, evaluate and treat ligament tears. The minimally invasive procedure leaves little incisions and quick recoveries.

Video of wrist: Wrist arthroscopy is when you insert a video camera into the wrist joint(s) to evaluate for specific problems such as torn ligaments, arthritis, fractures, and much more. Wrist arthroscopy is one technique a surgeon can use, and it can be both diagnostic (helping surgeon to determine what is wrong) and therapeutic (assists in helping surgeon fix a problem).
