Filler: Perlane is a soft tissue filler most commonly used in the face to fill wrinkles , folds and depressions. It is a natural substance that is in our body called - hyaluronic acid even though it is manufactured from bacteria that is induced to make it. This material is more viscus than it's sister substance restylane (dermal fillers). That is why Perlane is used for deeper layers and Restylane (dermal fillers) is more superficial

Recombinant glycopro: This is a recombinant human glycoproteins called hyaluronic acid and distributed by medicis. It complements the use of Restylane (dermal fillers) which is a similar product. However the Perlane molecule is larger and generally intended for deeper injection. Both are used to achieve volume restoration in the deep or sub dermal tissues. While reatylane is for fine lines, Perlane is for lips, smile lines & folds.
