Sometimes the implant can be inflamed from old or new infection, compression on a nerve or chronic inflammation from trying to be rejected.

The implant may be rubbing the sensory nerve which is adjacent to the implant. Consult with the surgeon who did your operation. Removal is sometimes necessary.
