My 7 year old has a very prominent fibula head on both legs. you can see it when shes standing and sitting. dr said its cosmetic. if he's wrong, and its not cosmetic what else could it be? she is very very thin, and my husband has it too.

Difficult to assess: You cite what appears to be a difference in appearance that both your husband & child have. The vague description does not allow much of an assessment. It appears to have been an inherited issue & likely a dominant trait. A consultation with a clinical geneticist (children's hospital or medical school) could likely sort out the issue & provide you a label.
