Posterior Tibial nerve: Over pronation of the foot/ankle has been found to be linked to tarsal tunnel syndrome. This movement of the ankle is thought to irritate the posterior tibial nerve along the inside of the ankle. Symptoms may include burning or tingling along the sole of the foot.
