Good chance: It is likely a new pregnancy would go fine. Monitor your sugar closely and any plan/treatment suggested by your ob. Gestational diabetes is very common and can persist in some cases.

Yes & yes: Anyone with type 2 diabetes is at somewhat higher risk with a pregnancy for both difficulty in maintaining control & some risks for the baby. With close monitoring by your health care team you should be able to have a healthy baby.
