Why do some dermatologists do surgery and others don't?

Diff. Subspecialties: There are many different subspecialties within the field of derm. Some have more interest in medical derm and others decide to pursue surgical, procedural, or cosmetic aspects of the field. Some may decide to specialize in pediatric derm. Those who are more surgically inclined have the option to get even more specialized training in fellowships that concentrate on surgery, lasers, & cosmetic surg.
