What qualifies a doctor to perform lasers?

Specialty training: It's important to find a doctor who has specialty training in lasers. Many doctors and nurses learn how to use a laser merely by attending a weekend course. Most doctors don't get adequate laser training during their residency and get more specialized training during a fellowship that concentrates on laser and cosmetic surgery. Important to ask how many procedures they've performed.

Difficult: It is very difficult to obtain Nd YAG laser, APC certification in the US. You want a board certified physician who is privileged with a hospital. Do not go for anything less.
