Get second opinion.: It is always a good idea to get a second opinion. Sometimes going to a different region of the country can be helpful. Many conditions have regional variations in treatment. Ask your primary care doctor for a recommendation on who to see for a second opiniono. Or ask your urologist who he/she recommends. Consider going to a teaching hospital as well.
