Irregular menses: The average age of menopause is 52, that's a year without a period due to ovarian failure. Leading up to this the periods can be erratic. Mperimenopause can be five years. You may not have ovulated this month which happens at times. Doubt your pregnant but may have uterine fibroids causing pain; may be fluctuating hormones due to irregular ovulation; wt gain may play an issue.
