Late period & pain: If you have significant pelvic pain, you need an exam by a doctor, primarily to rule out infection, but also cysts, endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, etc. If the pregancy tests were urine pregnancy tests, the best way to be sure is to have a serum (blood) pregancy test done.
