Abdominal pain: Can by serious depending on what type of bariatric procedure you had. You should always get evaluated by a doctor when you have severe pain.

Can be concerning: Severe pain after bariatric surgery needs to be evaluated with physical exam, and likely abdominal ct scan as well as possibly endoscopy. Conditions such as internal hernias or obstructions need to be ruled out. Also ulcers (especially in gastric bypass patents) can be evaluated with upper endoscopy.

Pain: It depends on what you had done and when. Ulcers, internal hernias, and perforation are always possibilities. Some patient have pain from uncertain causes. Contact your surgeon.
