Systemic: 1st and 2nd molars are fairly low on the list of common missing teeth. However, with your other information i would recommend you go see a dentist good with pathology as well as a physician. Many medical conditions will affect the teeth, causing missing or misshapen teeth.

See your dentist: You may have congenitally missing teeth, although it is uncommon for molars to be missing. See you dentist for a proper diagnosis.

Depends: Recommend dental visit and xrays to ascertain if teeth are nonexistent or impacted and to evaluate oral pathology related to size and shape of teeth. Any other medical syndromes present?

It happens: Many folks are congenitally missing teeth and chew just fine on the ones they have. If your 26 teeth are healthy, then consider yourself lucky.

Yes it's strange: See your Dentist for an examination and x-rays. Your Dentist will be able to discuss treatment options with you. Sometimes the best treatment is no treatment at all. Other times it's to have an Orthodontist move teeth into best alignment to facilitate restorations. See a Pro for advice.
