My 8 week old baby is in the hospital with rsv and they have her on strictly pedialyte. she started to get diarrhea after drinking it, is this ok?

Yes : She is on a mosty liquid diet so her stools will be looser.

Not necessarily: I see no reason to limit a 2mo with RSV to pedilyte if her respiratory rate is down below 60 & it is safe to feed her anything. If >60 she should get her fluids IV until her respiratory rate declines. Oxygen supplementation can drop the rate to an acceptable feeding level in many infants.
