Still vomiting?: Staying hydrated is key-risk is not of giving too much pedialyte but not enough due to losses. Start with small amts (as small as 5 ml) ever 5-10 minutes. If he keeps that down for 1 hr increase slowly in amt. If he vomits, stop for an hour & try again. When no vomiting for about 12 hours, can slowly reintroduce formula (even if still diarrhea). IF CAN'T KEEP ANY DOWN OR ACTING DIFFERENT SEE DOC!

Dehydration: Start with sips, if tolerating it advance to a few ounces at a time. If doing well, they can have as much Pedialyte as they normally get formula or breast milk.
