Could be side effect: Depends on what you are taking it for. Call your physicians office to get some guidance. Make sure you take it on an empty stomach with a large glass of water. Milk can inhibit the absorption, so don't take with milk. And don't lay down after taking - if it gets into your esophagus, it can cause irritation.
