Yes!: If you miss a period, it is important to take a pregnancy test to confirm that you are not pregnant *even after* a tubal ligation. Tubal ligation is not foolproof at preventing pregnancy. If your urine pregnancy test is positive, you should see a physician quickly because there is an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy.
